Spray Painting Before and Afters

I love what a can of spray paint can do for ceramic planters.....These both look so much better white! I stenciled on the larger pot and sanded it a bit to give it a vintage look...

Added a little Sedum to the cornstalks for some color...and some soft grasses for some texture..
Here is my wicker planter purchased at an auction... First picture is the before...I knew it would look better white! The basket on the bottom was in really bad shape--but now I think I might keep it around!  The birdhouse? A freebie from an auction!!

The stencil could have turned out a bit more vintage--anyone have any great suggestions for vintage letter stencils?

  1. Yes, a can of spray paint is amazing! As for the stencilled letter, the key is to be sure the stencil is secure and tight against the surface!! Thanks for stopping by my place and leaving a comment. I hope you will visit often as I have much more in store, including some upcoming stenciling tutorials!! Happy Painting!

  4. Love what you've done with the spray paint, but what really caught my eye was the concrete bench! I've been wanting one of those for a long, long time.

    Great job!

  6. That green wicker planter is just wonderful white. And love the basket underneath. I usually do my stenciling with craft paint and an almost dry brush. much easier than spray paint. Love your mums too, can't get enough of them. Thanks so much for linking in to VIF, hope you have a great week!
