Annie Sloan Shelf Makeover....

With my furniture sale approaching I am on the hunt for different sizes and styles of  furniture pieces....
I picked this little shelf up at an auction....
She was a little rough...VERY ROUGH......
I did a bit of repair work 
and decided to remove the back off the bottom shelf...too damaged to repair... 
this left the bottom open for the perfect basket......

I sanded and decided because of the old red paint I wanted to prime this piece...
I had an idea in the back of my mind on how I wanted this piece to look....Like the one Shaunna from Perfectly Imperfect and Layla from The Lettered Cottage worked on in this post

I used ASCP Duck Egg Blue and Old White and used a clear wax to bring out the colors.... 
Time to put a price tag on her!!
