Master Bedroom Makeover

I wanted to share some photos with you
& this week I will post some before and after shots—
and share some of the
many, many steps taken to get us from here….

now that I have completed the furniture pieces…..

here we have this free garbage roadside find…..
that had to be duct taped to keep the doors from falling off ……

LOVE the detail on her.....
half of the flower basket was missing so Mr. Midwest Cottage and Finds 
made a mold and reversed it—and viola!  
I will share that process this week when i talk about this dresser make-over…….

This guy has a story….searched for him ALL over……
and guess where I found him…….

but he did not look this this when I purchased him….

Our new laundry hampers...
wish they came with little hands that popped out and picked up Mr. MW Cottage and Finds 
laundry off the floor...
hmmm...
MAYBE that will be my next project :)

  3. Chris, it is lovely. Crisp, white and fresh. The piece with the white basket is so pretty and you guys figured out how to restore it...clever. Thanks for your sweet comment. I have never done a tutorial as I am so new at this myself but I take a lot of close up photos always in very good light. I chase the light. Sit in a chair and face your subject. If a photo is not really good I reject it. Also I use the editing program Picnik especially for inside shots. I am terrible at painting furniture...teach me! hugs♥olive

  4. I love those closet doors! I have the same double closets with accordion doors that are constantly falling off their tracks. Ugh! This would be the perfect solution and it looks so amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! I'm visiting from My Repurposed Life.
