Galvanized Trunk No…. Wood Trunk Yes!!

So I decided to hold off on the galvanized trunk to see if I found something else....and I did.....Last November when I was in Waco I found this awesome trunk but for some reason decided not to get it then...and I have been thinking about it since...so I went back to the antique center to see if it was still there....and..it was..and it was $45.00 with 20% off!!

It will sit here eventually…once I do a little makeover on it---think I will look for some cool, vintage industrial wheels to place it on—if anyone has any ideas where to score some of those drop me line……until then…I will begin a makeover on my new trunk coffee table—and it’s little friend I also found…a mini trunk…how great is this???  It gets better……the bench the little trunk is setting on…..picked it up at the same antique mall for a whopping…..$12.50!!!
Love me some Texas antiquing!!

  1. Oh, what a deal! Can't wait to see what you do with it. I love old trunks. I think your idea of vintage wheels is perfect. Great find!

  2. Great deals on your trunks. Around here they would want at least $100 for the bigger one. I'm not sure where you would find wheels unless it would be ebay? I will let you know if I run across any.
