Round Top to Warrenton 101

Once you leave Round Top be prepared to be amazed again…Round Two……Warrenton!!!  You park and walk thru as many vendors and  bloggers and antique dealers that have their store fronts set up ready for you to take it all in…The set ups are amazing…..you forget you are not in a true antique store with some of the displays….Zapp Hall is a great place to visit in this town….

Round Top, Marburger, Warrenton-a must do!  As a first timer here are my bullet points

Marburger Farm is in Round Top-free parking and there is an admission charge..If you are a blogger you can pre-register on their Facebook page to be a VIB Very Important Blogger and have free admission and a great swag bag waiting for you….There are tents, buildings and structures filled with vendors..IF there is a specific vendor you are looking for get the building they are in and their spot……there are food vendors and great rest rooms and shaded areas to take a break……..Everyone is so friendly and ready to share ideas and their stories….a GREAT FIND!!

Warrenton- 2 minutes down the road from Marburger…we paid $5.00 for parking in the main area-but there are free parking areas also….You park and walk thru the town—there is a general store, places to eat and separate vendor areas off the main road—also Zapp Hall has several vendors….once again if your favorite vendor is there get the area they will be setting up…and here again everyone is friendly, helpful and ready to share their stories and ideas……

I was looking for a VERY specific wash stand-had found it in a few antique malls ranging from $85.00-$175…..found my EXACT one in Warrenton for $55.00.  We agreed on $45.00….He kept it for me for several hours and we picked it up on our way out of town…..now this little piece will be painted and added to my bedroom makeover….but that post is for later in the week….I still have a few more TEXAS size surprises for you from this trip…..can we say POTTERY BARN OUTLET??? Wait till you see those finds…oh and the PB Outlet---it’s about an hour away from Round Top/Marburger…..so why not???

  2. We have a PB outlet not far from here. I can get into real trouble. Next to it is a Restoration Hardware outlet. Last weekend I found a PB queen size duvet and shams at a garage sale for ten dollars in excellent condition. And that is the second PB duvet set I have bought at a garage sale. I am selling one of them. Do not get into too much trouble at PB!
